Job Specifications Closing date: This position is set to close on June 26, 2024 at midnight (CST). Lead the development and implementation of strategies that achieve growth objectives. Manages the identification and development of energy solutions that meet the unique and evolving needs of our customers. Responsible for the management and development of key strategic accounts and a team of strategic account managers.

Pay Range: $100,650 - $166,050 (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Essential Functions: * Create shareholder value by developing and implementing enterprise strategies and carrying out customer-centric state/jurisdiction focused growth plans. * Drives growth by proactively analyzing market conditions and monitoring for opportunities to expand to new customers/markets or solutions. * Provide leadership in the development of new regulated and non-regulated energy solutions by gaining a detailed understanding of customer business drivers and needs. * Identify and develop approaches to partner with strategic customers in support of their energy management goals and objectives. * Develops and uses internal and external partnerships to improve growth outcomes and maintain customer loads. * Refine sales processes to ensure continual improvement of services and aid the creation of new services. * Lead contract development and the discussions with new and existing large, sophisticated customers. * Conduct industry research and develop analytical and technical capabilities and expertise in areas including distributed generation, renewable energy, energy storage, natural gas storage, transmission, distribution, regulatory and policy issues. * Develops or supports strategic account manager(s) with the development of business cases, proposals, financial models, and data analysis to quickly assess growth opportunities. Additional Responsibilities: * Provides input to the corporate strategic planning process through market intelligence and analysis of the revenue/margin potential of new products and services. * Partner with key internal collaborators to develop and implement growth plans. * Provides project management leadership and supports integration activities. What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree business, engineering or other related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 or more years Business development, project management, engineering, finance, or deal execution/integration experience

What Is Desired Or Can Be Taught: * Validated sales ability and motivation to achieve results. * Experience with discussions and the ability to mitigate risk related to business development agreements. * Proven success in project management and execution. * Ability to quickly analyze issues, prepare comprehensive analysis and recommend solutions and alternatives for identifying/solving specific issues. * Ability to highlight opportunities and provide clear communication to a broad audience that will assist in motivating change. * Strong business acuity and ability to analyze data to address customer situations. * Ability to think and act commercially by constantly evaluating current market, customer and industry dynamics to originate new growth opportunities. * Excellent interpersonal skills, team building, and employee development skills. * Ability to indirectly influence to keep projects moving in a timely and efficient manner. * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
