GREENE ARC INC. Direct Support Professional/ Van Driver/ Floater in Prosperity, Pennsylvania
This is a full-time position working at the Vocational Training Center in Ruff Creek, Pa. as a Direct Support Professional/ Van Driver/Floater. The person will be responsible for assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities in programs where needed. This person will be providing transportation to and from community homes and Community Participation outings.
This person will be expected to provide direct instruction and assistance to individuals with disabilities consistent with individualized written plans, established curricula, and approved instructional techniques; evaluate and report progress toward goals and objectives; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings; documentation. Computer knowledge preferred. This person must operate the vehicles in a safe manner at all times; assist individuals with disabilities to enter and exit the vans; conduct periodic safety inspections; perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an accredited state high school diploma or GED- online diploma must meet the requirements of the PA Department of Education
- Valid driver's license and clean driving history for at least 3 years
- Child abuse clearance
- Criminal background clearance
- FBI clearance
