Job Title: Welder
Job Description
Our team is looking for a dedicated Welder to perform MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products. You will be expected to read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform necessary tasks. Knowledge of welding safety procedures is required, and you must be willing to use all provided personal protective equipment (PPE). Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Prior Lake, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Our work environment is a job shop, where all products are designed to order. You will be working in a welding and fabrication shop with your own booth station among 20 welding bays. Your tasks will range from assembly/tack welding, which involves reading blueprints and welding together small parts, to finish welding, which requires more skill and involves completing final welds on products. Materials used will primarily be stainless with some aluminum and carbon. We work on large projects such as commercial silencers and generators for solar/wind farms. We are willing to train all welders, so while some welding experience is necessary, candidates can be entry level or have experience with MIG welding from school.
