The Role

As the Senior Scientist of Computer Vision in Translational Data Science, you will be at the forefront of applying artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize our understanding of disease biology and the mechanisms of our therapeutic interventions. In this key role, you will leverage advanced AI tools, particularly in imaging, to deepen our scientific insights into disease processes and the impact of our medicines.

We have a hybrid model that requires being onsite weekly in Princeton, NJ.

Responsibilities

Design and implement custom processing pipelines for medical images (CT, MRI, PET) including segmentation, registration, image augmentation, feature extraction, and visualization.
Apply classical and machine learning methods to derive insights from integrating and analyzing clinical response, tumor transcriptomic/genetic data, and radiographic image features
Develop and maintain data curation and analysis pipelines in collaboration with Translational Research, Clinical Development, and Data Science & AI teams.
Work on projects in partnership with technology companies and academic institutes to bring new AI capabilities to Genmab.
Continuously update knowledge on the latest scientific literature and best practices in data science.
Report scientific results in patents, publications, regulatory documents, and product-development reports.


Requirements

MS or Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, physics, computational sciences, or a closely related field with emphasis on medical image processing.
Minimum 4 years of related experience post-PhD, or 10 years post-Master's.
Demonstrated experience applying machine learning and deep learning algorithms to medical imaging analytics including CT, MR, and/or PET scans; experience in additional imaging domain (H&Es, IHC) a plus.
Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab and deep learning libraries such as Pytorch and Tensorflow.
Working experience with common open source image processing libraries such as ITK, VTK, MONAI, 3D Slicer and high performance GPU clusters such as AWS, Databricks.
Strong understanding of data science approaches including machine and deep learning; background in immunology, biology or oncology a plus.
Proven track record in developing deep learning models and working with large-scale image datasets.
Experience in clinical trial data analysis, especially in the oncology setting.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$114,375.00---$190,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
