IH Engineers, PC Civil Engineer in Princeton, New Jersey
Civil Engineer needed w/Master’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and 6 months experience as a Civil Engineer or Civil/Office Engineer performing following job duties: Perform structural inspection and evaluation of bridges in compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and regulations of New Jersey Department of Transportation under the supervision of Professional Engineers. Document inspection findings including collection of measurements, field sketches and digital photography. Prepare bridge safety inspection reports using Bentley Assetwise Connect. Prepare recommendation letters with cost estimates for replacing, widening and major repairs to structurally deficient bridges as well as emergency and priority repairs in accordance with NJDOT guidelines. Determine load carrying capacity of highway bridges by performing load rating calculations and structural analysis of bridges using Bentley LARS Bridge, PennDOT BOX5 and PennDOT BxLRFD in compliance with AASHTO Bridge Specifications for load factor design and load resistance factor design.Work under the supervision of PEBenefits: 401K, Medical, Dental & PTOMail Resumes to: IH Engineers, P.C. 103 College Road East, 1st FloorPrinceton, NJ 08540 Job Location: Princeton, NJ
