Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Fairview Northland Medical Center located in Princeton, MN. The Chef Manager will assist with the day-to-day kitchen operations that include training employees, ordering, inventory, menu planning, food preparation, and cooking meals.
The successful candidate will work as a team to:
develop menus for retail and prepare meals for patients and cafeteria customers
ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff
provide stellar customer service
POS programming and maintenance
purchase and receive food, as well as maintain inventory
conduct culinary, retail and patient service standard audits (in-house and national brands)
maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands)
ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place
manage vendor relationships and compliance

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
