1.Be at least twenty-one-(21) years of age and have at least five-(5) years of driving experience 2.Have a current Kentucky driver license (CDL’s not required)3.Be knowledgeable with electronic devices4.Be knowledgeable in our service area of Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike Counties 5.Not have more than two-(2) “at-fault” moving violations, or accidents within the last three-(3) years6.Have no prior conviction for a drug, or alcohol related offense in the last five-(5) years7.Have no conviction of any sexual crime, or crime of violence7. Have no conviction of any other felony within the last five-(5) years (a conviction does not necessarily disqualify the applicant)8.Have no instance of a suspended, or revoked driver license, commercial or other, within the last five-(5) years, or a currently suspended, or revoked license 9.Have reliable and dependable personal transportation to and from work, excluding the SVTS-assigned vehicle10.Have a working telephone and active phone number Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Frequent sittingFrequent walkingFrequent standingFrequent getting on and off the vehicleLifting and carrying objects of moderate weight (40 lbs., or less)Maneuvering wheelchairs ands wheelchair users while in their wheelchairLift up to and equal to forty-(40) poundsPush and/or pull a weight equal to one’s own body weightStoop and get on one’s knees and bend at the waist and reach overheadWork in all types of weather conditionsSandy Valley Tranportation provides the employee with Health Insurance, Dental & Vision Insurance.
