What is a Director of Technology Infrastructure & Operations?
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys IT infrastructure and operations functions. This includes managing data centers, networks, and cloud services to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale IT environments, leading teams, and driving technological innovation within a regulated environment. This role involves leveraging co-sourced vendor services combined with internal staff to plan, build, and run technology services across various domains including service desk, mainframe, network, database, server administration, vulnerability management, and collaboration tools. Additionally, the Director is responsible for ensuring the department aligns with the ITIL framework and focuses on continuous improvement for efficient and reliable service delivery.
