Kuehne+Nagel Virtual Desktop Engineer (m/w/d) in Porto, Portugal
Are you interested in virtual environments with Citrix as main technology and do you like to automate everything? Join our international team to support our internal and external customers in their virtual experience.
Your Role
In this role you work together in an international team that is responsible for the Virtual Desktop environments in our Datacenters and Cloud where you will take care of maintaining and optimizing the entire infrastructure around a virtual Workspace. Within Kuehne + Nagel the virtual Workspace is crucial for a lot of people and for that reason independence and responsibility is part of this position. This is a position where you will apply your knowledge of and experience with Citrix is products is required. You are able to solve complex problems, automate manual procedures and perform migrations if needed.
Your Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents as 2nd line support specialist.
Manage and optimize our (Enterprise) server environment;
Open for flexible working hours as we need to cover two times zones in the near future.
You participate as a specialist in projects and document the implemented solutions.
Execute and plan changes without disrupting the business process, including documenting and handing over to IT Support.
Your Skills and Experiences
At least 2 year Experience with Citrix
Experience with automation, monitoring and scripting
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to patiently listen, understand, and effectively communicate information to technical and non technical colleagues
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess and resolve issues efficiently.
A knack for continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with the ever-evolving IT landscape.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Fluency in English is a must.
