Farmer Brothers Warehouse Associate / Shipping Clerk in Portland, Oregon

Under direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring all orders are printed, pulled, verified, packed and ship confirmed in JDE and prepares documents for shipment. Responsible for the daily administration of the UPS, FedEx, and USPS billing station.

Responsibilities

  • Properly document and prepare product and information ensuring accuracy and timely shipment.

  • Expedite and promptly resolve order discrepancies, shipment delays, missing documentation, shipment instruction and/or any unresolved shipment issues.

  • Maintain all shipments, comply with company procedures and work instructions, assembling, packing, addressing, stamping, documentation, carrier routing/

  • scheduling, tracking, customer authorizations.

  • Expedite tracking and shipping inquiries and provide feedback in a timely manner.

  • Recommend new strategies for more efficient and/or cost-effective processes within department.

  • Works closely with other team members to maintain accurate inventory

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience.

  • At least one year Computer experience with Microsoft Office and the Internet.

  • Previous experience using RF Gun (DSI system preferred).

  • Good analytical, follow through and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.

  • Desire to support other team members and contribute to the team.

  • Willing to fully supports and stand behind team decisions.
