Valet Living Part Time Warehouse Associate - MultiPro Property Solutions in Portland, Oregon

Reporting to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of a Branch warehouse. Typical tasks include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and packing and dispatching orders. This role assesses stock for damages, keeps a concise record of inventory, accurately fills and dispatches customer orders, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Manager.

A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, and should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels can satisfy customer orders. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, can resolve problematic situations quickly, and should always take pride in keeping the warehouse neat and orderly.

Hourly pay range: $19.00 - $22.50

Work schedule: Part Time - flexible schedule between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday (ideally Tuesday - Thursday)

Essential job duties:

  • Receive incoming stock (flooring materials), offload and put away in warehouse

  • Tag and label materials

  • Enter items into the inventory management system

  • Identify and missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the manager

  • Maintain an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse

  • Conduct monthly inventory counts, update inventory records, and address variances

  • Ensure warehouse space is organized

  • Routinely sweep and maintain a clean warehouse

  • Fill and check customer orders

  • Prepare orders for dispatch, shipment, or delivery

  • Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery

  • Ensure equipment maintenance and upkeep

  • Maintain a safe warehouse, ensure compliance with all applicable company safety

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required ; Forklift Operations Certification preferred

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse or similar role preferred

  • Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs

  • Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and computer-based inventory systems

    Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment in a manner consistent with local and state rules and regulations and company policy

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulder

  • Valid driver license and good driving record

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
