What you will do:

You will play a key part in the continued transformation of the Medical technology landscape. You will have accountability and authority for achieving project objectives. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team aiming to complete projects. You will become the Lead Project Manager in support of the Vocera Integration into the (Medical) Accelerate ecosystem landscape which includes schedule and resource management, stakeholder and senior leadership team communications, dashboard and activity alignment and other key processes. You will person utilize a project management skillset to coordinate across multiple groups and align resources and timelines for key project deliverables such as testing, training, and other smaller scale projects. After the Vocera ERP launch, this position will remain on the Process and Technology team supporting Medical Division, customer facing, initiatives. This is a hybrid role. The employee will work onsite and remote. The employee is expected to be physically present at a Stryker location on a weekly basis but has the flexibility to work from home.

  • Leads project teams by providing technical and project management expertise to bring new solutions to our division and its business units.

  • Manages the project timeline, budget, resources, and risks to meet business requirements.

  • Leads project teams of varying size/scale and complexity with strategic focus on the most efficient path to completion. Identifies opportunities during project management and seeks out creative solutions that may be implemented systemically.

  • Serves as a role model of PMO culture and drives accountability across the team. Engages team members and sets direction in a way that delivers results and inspires others.

  • Develops a risk management plan for the project. Identifies, analyzes, and understands project risks; develops and monitors a risk response plan.

  • Estimates, acquires, and assigns cross-functional project resources. Defines the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provides direct feedback to functional manager for performance reviews.

  • Leverages experience and knowledge of business systems and strategy to become a subject matter expert in our Business Process and seeks synergies across business units.

  • Holds cross-functional team members accountable to providing information needed to evaluate project investments and make key project decisions.

  • Keeps the stakeholders and leadership teams informed of project status. Instills confidence in stakeholders within the business through proven track record of project completion.

  • Develops and executes the communications management plan for the project team and the needs of key stakeholders.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required

  • 6+ years of work experience in at least one discipline (Finance, Procurement, IT, R&D, Ops, Customer Care, etc.) is required

  • Regulated industry experience is highly preferred

  • System and technology integration experience is highly preferred

  • Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments.

  • Drives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate.

  • Adept at team management; selects the right people to complete the right tasks all while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.

  • Influences without direct authority in a way that makes others want to be on their team.
