We are seeking a driver for transporting goods and materials. This role includes loading and unloading cargo, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills and commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Driving and Delivery:
Operate trucks to transport goods to and from specified destinations.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of the vehicle, cargo, and other road users.
Loading and Unloading:
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Ensure that cargo is properly secured and balanced to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and cargo, ensuring correct items and quantities.
Maintenance and Reporting:
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks, reporting any major mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents.
Report any delays, accidents, or other issues to the Logistics Manager/Supervisor promptly.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding deliveries.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods in a timely and efficient manner.
The essential functions of this role include:
