White Water Marine Inc. is a fabricator working primarily with stainless steel and focused on the marine industry. We fabricate custom and production stainless steel tubular products and associated hardware. Our Customers include boat builders, owners and marine service centers located throughout North America. The business is growing and needs to hire additional people accordingly.
Job Requirements:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to finish and polish welded stainless steel assemblies to prepare them for shipment
- Grind, lap, hone, debar of cut workpieces according to specifications
- Operate grinding and related tools to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, smooth out rough edges or polish metals
- Inspect parts to ensure they conform to quality standards
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Must be dependable and consistently meet expectations
- Must be able to find one's own way of completing tasks efficiently with little or no supervision
- Mechanical aptitude required, interest in learning machining and welding skills is a plus!
This position may eventually lead to welding, fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, welding and machining procedures.
