The over 70 miles of rugged and beautiful pacific coastline, the wild, magical forests, the glacier-capped mountains and the calm lakes, make for an almost impossibly diverse and wide range of natural beauty.?We?re seeking a passionate Retail Manager to oversee retail operations across multiple properties within the park.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $68,000 to $78,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Property Management:

  2. Manage retail operations at various lodges and resorts within Olympic National Park.

  3. Ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of retail outlets, including gift shops, convenience stores, and other retail spaces.

  4. Coordinate with other departments (food service, housekeeping, etc.) to provide seamless guest experiences.

  5. Inventory and Merchandising:

  6. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.

  7. Curate product selection to align with the park?s natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle.

  8. Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales.

  9. Staff Supervision:

  10. Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff.

  11. Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.

  12. Conduct performance evaluations and address any issues promptly.

  13. Financial Management:

  14. Develop and manage retail budgets.

  15. Monitor sales, analyze trends, and adjust strategies as needed.

  16. Ensure compliance with financial and operational goals.

  17. Guest Service:

  18. Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors.

  19. Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and create memorable experiences.

  20. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

  21. Compliance and Safety:

  22. Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and park regulations.

  23. Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail spaces.

  24. Promote sustainable practices and environmental awareness.

  • Experience: Previous retail management experience required.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
