Robert Half Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk in Plymouth, Minnesota
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota, in the Wholesale Distribution - Non-Durable industry. This role primarily involves handling accounts payable, including check runs for multiple companies, as well as some data entry and account reconciliation tasks. The position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required
• Ensure efficient and accurate entry of Accounts Payable (AP) for various companies
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations
• Handle daily cash duties as needed
• Execute check runs for all associated companies
• Manage invoice processing and coding invoices
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)
• Experience with check runs and coding invoices
• Strong data entry skills
• Familiarity with invoice processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of SAP
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a similar role in the wholesale distribution industry is preferred
