JPMorgan Chase Product Manager - Payments - Senior Associate in Plano, Texas

As a Senior Product Associate in Chase Payment Solutions, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

The Small & Medium-Sized Business Organization (SMB Payments) is part of global JP Morgan Payments organization and is an innovative leader in serving small and medium-size business clients through banking, payments, and value-added services. Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery

  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience

  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers

  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle

  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development

  • Synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct and adapt, and constantly iterate on your approach

  • Discuss functional details of workflows with key stakeholders with some high level technical information

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle

  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition

  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy

  • Aptitude to learn, solve challenging problems and a passion to deliver great user experiences

  • High level understanding of customer experience, analytics, and agile methodologies (toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence etc.)

  • Energetic and curious self-starter with willingness to learn

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience partnering with engineering and design teams in bring products to market

  • Experience supporting product launches and supporting the end-to-end product lifecycle for complex/large-scale initiatives, including development of the product roadmaps and initiatives

  • Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and demonstrate calmness under pressure

  • An obsession with customer experience and product fidelity

  • Strong communication capabilities; ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with various stakeholders such as cross-functional teams and senior leadership

  • Familiarity with risk mitigation and risk mitigation strategies
