As an Onboarding Product Manager in the Asset Wealth Management team, you will work to understand the needs and goals of J.P. Morgan Advisors Client Operations colleagues who use your product. You will help translate these needs into workable solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Working with product owner, product users, control partners, designers, and engineers to understand the pain points, collaborate on opportunities, prototype and test solutions, craft epics and stories, and ensure sprint inputs (e.g. design and requirements) and outputs (e.g. tested code) are well documented and maintained in JIRA

  • Collaborating with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team to ensure product changes are understood and plan for testing is in place

  • Communicating with stakeholders, partners and product teams to ensure clarity on enhancements or product changes

  • Executing the approach to pilot/rollout new capabilities, including objective/scope, population selection, communication, training/support, feedback/metrics

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Product or Project Management

  • Experience in wealth management client onboarding

  • Ability to prioritize workload

  • Prior experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar Product tools

  • Strong understanding of Agile and the ability to collaborate closely with triad partners (product, design, technology)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization

  • Proven track record in product management leading strategic or transformational change, preferably with experience in wealth management, asset management, digital banking, or a closely related business.

  • Experience building a strategy and roadmap across a large, diverse, global organization.

  • Experience with product and strategic solutions delivery, data governance and data modeling, API development, structured data and building technical products

  • Experience with Atlassian agile planning and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence, Planner, Portfolio, Align, etc.), Microsoft Office Products (spreadsheets, pivot tables, presentations on Power Point)

  • Prior experience with AWM Onboarding preferred (but not required)
