SUMMARY: The Senior Treasury Analyst assists in the management of the Bank's treasury related activities, including funding and pricing strategies, liquidity and interest rate risk modeling, balance sheet and capital management. This position also performs, develops, and maintains key procedures, processes, and models necessary to help the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) monitor and manage the bank's balance sheet risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports assembly of the monthly Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) deck. Collaborates with other departments such as finance, accounting, business intelligence, data management and operations to implement asset liability management strategies effectively. Evaluates liquidity risk by monitoring cash flows, funding sources, and liquidity ratios to ensure the bank has adequate liquidity buffer. Conducts regular peer analysis through key metric comparison and summarization of quarterly earnings calls. Assists in the development of key assumptions used in interest rate, liquidity, and strategic forecasting. Analyzes additional market risks such as option, basis, curve, and yield risk through scenario analysis and stress-testing. Creates, maintains, and updates processing procedures, changes control reports, and models documentation. Looks for ways to improve and streamline current treasury reporting and processes. Maintains working knowledge of industry trends and ensures compliance with current regulatory expectations as they relate to the ALM Function.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Familiarity with balance sheet concepts as well as an understanding of how market or interest rates affect the balance sheet and net interest income. Analytical skills with demonstrated ability to transform large amounts of data into an understandable, concise, and visual presentation. Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charting, etc.) required. Working knowledge of VBA, SAS or R, and SQL preferred. Familiarity with FIS BancWare or similar application is preferred.
