We're seeking a future team member for the role of Junior Securities Finance Product Analyst to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID Role Overview: BNY's Securities Finance is part of the Liquidity & Financing team in Markets. Liquidity & Financing (Securities Finance, Liquidity & Margin Services) help our clients actively manage their short-term investment needs to generate incremental yield. We also provide intermediation services in secured financing markets, help clients raise cash or earn additional revenue on assets through agency securities lending, and solve for margin management needs through the segregation of assets. We are hiring for a motivated and results-driven product professional with responsibilities for our securities finance trading platform and surrounding applications. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Provide Support for the Securities Finance trading platform across the desks globally. Communicate with the trading, operational & other product teams to understand business needs with the aim of providing solutions in the Securities Finance trading platform. Obtain, analyse and manage business requirements using our industry standard bug & issue tracking tool. Liaise with Product Development and Testing to ensure business requirements are delivered to meet business expectations. Assists more Product Owners on developing and delivering the product roadmap on a regular release schedule. Participate and own business related projects allocated to the Securities Finance team. Support Product Management in building client-focused and strategic business in the marketplace through relevant research and analysis on client segments, competitive landscape and industry environment. May assist other product managers perform technical training or demonstrations to business users. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 3-5 years experience inthe financial services, preferably with a Securities Finance background or understanding. Must be innovative, enthusiastic and motivated to work in a growing, high potential market segment that is constantly evolving. Desire to work in a team environment, wherein time-sensitive and business decisions must be made to best meet our client expectations and company goals. Should have good presentation skills and be able to communicate with all levels of the business and technology. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or equivalent work experience required. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $47,000 and $83,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
