H. F. Lenz Company Electrical Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
H.F. Lenz Engineering is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This role will perform building system design, including low-medium voltage design; power distribution and lighting system design. This role will work directly with commercial office buildings, government facilities and mission critical / data-center engineering projects for clients spanning the US. These roles may be located on-site at any of the following office locations:
- Johnstown PA (Headquarters)
- Pittsburgh PA
- Conneaut OH

Preferred Experience and Requirements:?
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and building system design, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, telecom and alarm systems.?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited ?university is required.?
- Ability to work independently designing electrical building systems from utility entrance to final ?branch circuiting.?
- Experience surveying and documenting existing electrical systems in field.?
- Experience using Revit and other 3D/BIM modeling platforms to design layouts, one-line diagrams ?and electrical panels.?
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required for client interaction and team member ?collaboration for engineering tasks and requirements.?
- FE/EIT certification or desire to obtain FE highly preferred.?
- Occasional travel is required.?
