Location: Pine Bush, NY
Hours: 6:00AM-6:00PM, 36hr./week - 12hr Shifts
Pay Range: $45 per hour
Seeking RN's for Monday-Sunday Day Shifts.

Sharpen your assessment, telephone triage, respiratory and g-tube skills in a group home setting while working with 6 very special people!
Job Description
As an RN with OPWDD, you will provide direct patient care in the group home following the MD orders. You will be responsible for the complete care of the tracheostomy ventilated person; systems assessment, all nursing treatment and procedures, administration of medication and feedings, family/patient education. You will provide professional nursing services including providing direct nursing care in the areas of health maintenance, nutrition, activities of daily living, and the treatment and prevention of illness. Services may also include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. Additionally, you would participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team. You may also provide supervision to subordinate professional, paraprofessional, and support staff in the performance of their patient/resident care duties and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs and narcotics.
No experience? No problem! Once on boarded, you will receive a comprehensive orientation and work directly with a preceptor who will guide you through the process of learning how to multitask and give quality care to a total of 6 people at the residence.
​Qualifications:
Current, valid NY RN license
Associates degree
Previous experience with DD population (a plus but not required)
Prior experience with electronic health records including electronic MARs a plus but not required. Will train
Perform other duties as assigned
BLS, fire safety training, and GT feeding training (training will be provided).
Physical aspects, may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring
A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency
Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OPWDD mandated criminal background check process
