Team Leader - Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Summary/Purpose
To lead assigned maintenance team in effective troubleshooting and reliability improvements to production equipment.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
Lead technician(s) for assigned shift, responsible for communications to the shift
End-of-shift hand off to incoming shift
Set priorities for the shift technician(s) related to downtime, PMs, and projects
Monitor work being done on assigned shift and support the team members
Knowledge and understanding of the following:
o
Hydraulic and pneumaticsystemsandtroubleshooting
o
Bearing applicationand troubleshooting
o
CNC systemsand troubleshooting
o
PLCsystemsandtroubleshooting
o
Electricalsystemsandtroubleshooting
o
Oil/lube systems and troubleshooting
Ability touse generalgages suchas:calipers,micrometer,cylindergage, dial indicator, etc.
Understanding ofhandandpower toolusage
Generalknowledgeofoperatingand maintainingheating,cooling,and/orventilation equipment
Ability to analyzeand solvetechnical maintenanceproblems, includingbuilding maintenance, equipment,plumbing,and othertypes of repairs
Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management
Supervisory Responsibilities
Maintenance technicians report to team leader
