Honeywell Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Programming in Phoenix, Arizona

Use your knowledge of manufacturing engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Advanced Manufacturing Engineering deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of aerospace engine products supporting new products from concept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support current product value engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing process at the Pheonix Gear Line COE.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high technical ability of CNC programming, multi-axis CNC lathes and mills

• Collaborate with various functional teams

• Prepare or update reports and documentation

• Perform material reviews and investigations

• Request funding for equipment tooling, review tooling requirements and maintenance status

• Support shop floor audits and daily tier meetings

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 6+ years in manufacturing and programming support for an aerospace company

WE VALUE

• Bachelors degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Knowledge of blueprint and engineering specifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical CAD drawings

• Ability and understanding of machine set-up and operation

• Knowledge of G-code and troubleshooting machinery

• Takes initiative, exercises sound judgment, discretion, and capable of complex decision making in a dynamic work environment
