Fortive Corporation Machinist in Phoenix, Arizona
As a Machinist on our Fluke team, you will perform machining operations to produce close tolerance, precision products. These items are a key part of our pressure and flow product line and are providing pressure and flow calibration solutions worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Operate in a safe and responsible manner.
Work from work instructions, procedures, and drawings.
Use gages and measurement instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
Uses drill press, precision weighing scales, lathes, mill, hones, and laps.
Performs daily cleaning and maintenance tasks on machinery and work area.
Has no supervision responsibilities
Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates ad selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
Impacts quality of work
Uses interpersonal skills to regularly exchange information
Qualifications:
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Excellent mechanical skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety
Solid verbal communication skill
Proficient in math
Basic digital literacy
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
High School degree or equivalent
Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
