Job Title: Electrical Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Drafter to be a part of our Distribution Group, preparing structural and electrical drawings for energy infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers and consultants to create detailed drafts for high voltage equipment, structures, foundations, and electrical schematics. As an Assistant Electrical Designer, you will assist in various phases of planning, site evaluations, analytical designs, report preparation, specifications, and preparation of proposal and construction documentation and electrical plans as part of a project team. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects and clients.
Hard Skills
CAD drafting of all engineering products and deliverables
Correction of discrepancies in drawings and designs
Drafting of substation layout, sections, structural and foundation details, bill of materials, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
Documentation update
Understanding & meeting project schedule and quality requirements
Soft Skills
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Flexibility to changes in work assignments
Detailed and quality-oriented
Active participation in the delivery of a complete project
Interdepartmental support

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.
Work Environment
You will be joining a team of 7 employees led by a manager who started his journey as a Designer. Your work station will be located in our lively office in downtown Phoenix. We pride ourselves on our outgoing culture, celebrating our employees' personal and professional milestones. We believe in empowering our employees through a structured 0-2 year training plan, gradually involving you in projects and client interactions. As you grow with us, there will be opportunities to progress through 4 levels of drafting/design, each level bringing an increase in pay
