Honeywell Director, Pricing Operations in Phoenix, Arizona
Honeywell is hiring a Director, Pricing Operations to sit in our Phoenix, AZ Honeywell hub location. As a Director, Pricing Operations here at Honeywell, you will own the Pricing Excellence Function and lead the Aero Technologies global pricing team to enable the delivery of all pricing objectives and strategies. Focus will include performance management and ensuring desired results are delivered, pricing tools are deployed, and analytics are utilized. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing price data from a variety of ERP systems using best practices, standard methodologies, and tools. By creating strong partnerships with offering management, key strategic business leaders, and senior management, you will help maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will leverage analytics from transactional, pass-thru, value, new product, OEM price agreements, Commercial and Defense Contracts to drive margin improvement.
You will report directly to our Sr. Director Pricing and work on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the organization by:
Leading the Contracts and Transactional pricing team through pricing optimization projects and deploy pricing capabilities for the Aero Technologies business
Being responsible for leadership and tactical execution of end-to-end pricing strategy and serving as the primary project manager across inflation mitigation steps
Driving the establishment of a global pricing structure including pricing analytics, operations, and transformation
Supporting standard price management platform and deal desk tool deployments, as well as global price analytics
Driving and reporting monthly performance on value, transactional, and pass-thru pricing
Implementing business analytics to support targeted outcomes
Implementing, tracking, and reporting schedule of executive approval, discount management, price waterfall analysis, and target price metrics by product lines/customers
Supporting list price evaluation process and contract escalations
Ensuring consistent reporting and communication of pricing changes, deployments, and progress globally
Taking on ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
YOU MUST HAVE:
8+ years of work experience
Contracts Pricing experience
WE VALUE:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Strong financial modeling skills as demonstrated by the ability to create pricing structures and P&L analysis with multiple scenarios
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to derive insights from large/abstract data sets and summarize for executive consumption
Demonstrated executive-level experience in data management, financial analysis, IT/digital tools
Results-focused with a successful record of accomplishments through skilled use of influence, persuasion, negotiation, and problem resolution
Experience leading a global team with demonstrated results
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
Understanding ERPs/data systems
Demonstrated experience and understanding linking price and business strategy
Price management tools experience preferred: PROS software, Deal Desk, Tableau-based tools
Strong self-starter who can manage tasks with little guidance
Proactive and proficient communicator with good listening skills
Logical thinking ability with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proactive in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them
Experience working with teams across multiple sites/time zones; ability to develop effective working relationships and be highly responsive
Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel, Siebel databases, SAP, and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO)
