DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Strategy Manager

About the Role  Essity Consumer Goods North America is looking for an experienced Sales Strategy Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate should live in the Philadelphia, PA metro as this is a hybrid position.

What You Will Do  * Facilitate the creation of trade strategies to minimize COT disruptions. * Support Sales & Marketing Go-To-Market Strategy through supporting the strategic planning process together with sales leadership and brand marketing. * Plan and communicate yearly building blocks, planned marketing and innovation plans to the sales team. * Develop and execute the Commercial Activation Plan that integrates the review and execution of the yearly sales budget, yearly innovation and customer specific opportunities. * Lead the building blocks process for financial forecast updates Budget, FC1, FC2, FC3. * Roll out yearly trade budgets and work with finance to track and identify any opportunities or challenges. * Support innovation business case process with pricing alignment, volume assumptions, cannibalization estimates and customer listing expectations. * Provide distribution targets, pipeline targets, customer cannibalization, listing costs, tracking and feedback documents. * Work with Marketing to develop trade deck for customer meetings. * Follow up, control, and support the utilization of the standard sales metrics and utilize analytics dashboards to generate actionable insights and training that the sales force can use to improve selling behaviors and exceed overall performance goals.  * Compare Budget vs. Customer LE to determine risk/opportunity. Identify challenges or opportunities. * Support line managers in the initiatives that improve sales performance and sales force productivity. Support development and activation of programs and metrics that increase the adoption of sales behaviors and outcomes around account and sales planning, pipeline forecasting, share growth, and forecast accuracy. * Support and enable the sales competency development and training; identify common needs and prioritize the next step improvements by highest economic impact; work in collaboration with other BU functions that is responsible for sales training, sales automation, and analytics to leverage our combined resources and best practices. * Support sales leads with coordinating and replying to adhoc requests to the business.

Who You Are  * Bachelor's degree Business, Sales or Marketing. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. * 5-7 years of B2B sales experience * Strong experience in data analysis utilizing Microsoft Office, IRI, Nielsen, Kantar. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships on all levels, team player, and embraces change * Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
