Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry:
- Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets with precision.
- Monitor and update financial records, including expenses and receipts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
Customer Relations:
- Interact with clients or customers to address billing inquiries and concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure payment compliance.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory as needed.
Billing and Invoicing:
- Generate and send invoices to clients or customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify billing information, including rates, quantities, and discounts.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and external contacts.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and up-to-date billing information.
Compliance and Accuracy:
- Ensure billing and financial processes comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, accounting, or business administration is a plus.
Proven experience in billing and administrative roles, with a focus on financial tasks. Prior experience with billing software and accounting tools is highly desirable. Experience with eligibility and verification, a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and billing software. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle billing inquiries professionally and courteously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
