Job Title: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines. You will also support daily operations activities, move and position aircraft, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines.

  • Move and position aircraft in the hangar and on the flight line.

  • Work overtime and travel as needed.

  • Support daily operations activities of the Part 145 repair station.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of helicopter maintenance experience.

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation.

  • Ability to use and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.

  • Experience performing inspections.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Licenses is preferred but not required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of aircraft components and systems.

  • Familiarity with avionics systems.

Work Environment

The position is based in a Part 145 Repair Station and Completions Facility. First shift opportunities are available. This role involves working in a professional aviation maintenance environment with a focus on helicopter maintenance and repairs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
