Peraton requires Information Technology Specialists to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Position is located at Peterson AFB, CO.

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who opera The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, network, and AV equipment. The IT Specialist Assists employees via remote access, phone, or in person. The Specialists critical thinking, problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as diverse experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. This position may be required to provision and maintain mobile devices (NIPR, SIPR and Gray) and other handheld communication devices (radios). The ability to terminate, test and troubleshoot secure/non-secure voice, video, data and radio frequency cable infrastructure. The IT Specialist provides administration of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. The Specialist requires knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections. The IT Specialist must have experience in setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting

Duties include but are not limited to: Supporting the installation, tuning, testing, operating, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, defense, and management of LAN routing and switching infrastructure hardware and software. Providing LAN services including planning, designing, engineering, configuring, operating, maintaining, defending, troubleshooting, and repairing Providing full lifecycle support of the WAN infrastructure including network installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, defense, and management of the WAN routing and switching infrastructures, including network hardware and Supporting messaging services including email, chat, and VTC sessions on behalf of end users to ensure proper operation. Troubleshooting, analyzing, and isolating the root cause of problems that arise during a live Recommending courses of action to return impacted systems to full operational status. Providing VTC MCU services including, but not limited to installing, configuring, integrating, testing, maintaining, operating, and defending teleconferencing hardware and software including MCU VTC bridges and Session Border Controller SIP Trunks. Planning, installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, defending, managing, repairing, and updating the VTC components including performing software updates, account management, and conference sched Establishing VTC connectivity to other locations and Scheduling, coordinating, and administering multiple simultaneous VTC Recommending upgrades to VTC systems at least annually and incorporate approved upgrades when acquired by the Government. Planning, designing, setup, configuring, operating, debugging, and removing A/V equipment required to support large meetings and forums both within Government facilities or remote Periodically setup and test A/V equipment used to support large meetings in order to verify its Documenting any failures discovered during the testing process and deliver a detailed report to the appropriate Government entity listing those failures with recommendations for addressing them. Recommending lifecycle upgrades and improvements to A/V equipment used for large meetings and implement once approved by the appropriate Government entity Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printers. Installing and configuring application and operating system software and Supporting multiple device configuration including personal device support and Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new Installing, maintaining, and assessing current and future telecommunications systems and Installing new cable/fiber. Terminating and testing new cable/fiber.
