Providence Associate Pharmacy Technician in Petaluma, California
Description
Prepares medications (oral solids, injectables, IV admixtures, chemotherapy, etc.) for dispensing. Works under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist to accomplish delivery of patient medications, utilizing personnel and automatic dispensing machines.
Age-Related Competencies: Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills (cognitive, technical, and interpersonal) necessary to identify age-specific patient needs, appropriate for this position. This includes patients such as neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Required Qualifications:
California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Technician training course.
Pharmacy experience.
