As Groups, Meetings & Events Coordinator you will be a key person who supports and coordinates for all things related to these business segments by working closely with GM&E team members and other departments.

Reporting to theCluster Commercial Director, key responsibilities of this role are these following, but not limited to:

  • The event ambassador and point of contact
  • Customer service
  • Group and accommodation reservation
  • Event, conference and meeting administration and management
  • Quality assurance including site inspections and menu tastings
  • Client management and business development includingclients meet and greet
  • Quality Assurance
  • Internal and external stakeholders' liaison
  • Profitability and achieve sales targets, accurately forecasting revenue
  • Teamwork and communication

About you:

  • Previous experience groups, conference and event administration or coordination.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with great attention to detail
  • Advanced capability within Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Great salesmanship with passion for success
  • Ability to work under pressure at all times, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A degree or certification in hospitality, tourism, event management or another relevant business field would be advantageous.
