WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Collaborating across the organization to implement strategic plans that drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and foster long-term customer loyalty.
Forecasting sales trends and developing innovative, result-driven sales strategies.
Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets to ensure the highest levels of performance and success.
Building strong relationships with new clients while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships.
Expanding and managing a robust client database within your assigned territory to ensure consistent engagement and retention.
Following up on incoming leads with same-day responsiveness to maximize conversion opportunities and accelerate the sales process.
Staying informed on competitor products and effectively positioning solutions to outperform them.
Serving as the primary liaison between strategic technology partners and clients, managing partnerships, coordinating project involvement, and leveraging partner resources to maximize sales success and customer satisfaction.
In addition to your individual sales responsibilities, you will serve in a team lead capacity, supporting the growth and performance of other MCA sales team members in the Midwest. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career while still actively selling.
As a Team Lead, you will:
Serving as a resource and mentor for new or less experienced team members.
Helping to coordinate communication and collaboration across the Illinois sales team.
Partnering with MCA leadership to provide feedback and insights from the field.
Assisting in regional planning efforts and execution of key growth initiatives.
Leading by example, modeling service-first behavior, professionalism, and goal achievement.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
A bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in sales or public safety (preferred), OR 8+ years of direct sales or public safety experience.
Proven expertise in public safety or law enforcement, gained either through direct service (e.g., police, fire, EMS) or through sales roles focused on public safety markets.
A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication skills and collaborative, service-first mindset.
The ability to articulate product features and benefits clearly to clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to balance personal sales responsibilities while supporting a team.
Strong self-motivation and personal drive, with the ability to work independently and stay focused without direct daily oversight.
A strong sense of accountability for both your performance and for supporting the broader team’s goals, communication, and alignment with leadership expectations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a remote position, and candidates may reside anywhere near the MCA offices within Illinois.
Regular travel within the assigned territory is required to meet with clients, attend events, and build/maintain customer relationships. Candidates must be comfortable managing their schedule and travel independently to ensure consistent face-to-face engagement with their customer base.
DIRECT REPORTS:
This position does not have formal direct reports, but you will serve as a peer leader and mentor to other members of the Illinois team. This is an entry-level leadership role with opportunities for future advancement.
