THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for the control and audit of contracts, purchase orders, and requisitions as well as processing all non-contract vendor payments and overseeing and the maintenance of the sundry and the advancement accounts. This includes expediting telephone calls and correspondence to our vendors, acting as liaison between purchasing and other departments, verifying and processing invoices, preparing reports, and keeping all ledgers and fiscal documentation current. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.

  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  • Overtime and Travel: As needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant;or

  • Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school;or

  • One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration;or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
