Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components. Your attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in machine operation will be crucial in ensuring the successful production of quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machine setup, tool selection, and programming.
- Load materials into the CNC machine and set appropriate machine parameters (speed, feed rate, etc.).
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Document work performed, including machine settings, changes, and any maintenance completed.
