Siemens Energy Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer and Business Developer -- Electrical Substation Products in Richland, MS to []{#_Hlk162554542}assess and provide technical solutions to customers per their application in electrical substations. Prepare commercial calculation of High Voltage products according to customer technical requirements. Provide quotations and proposals as requested by customer. Contract Management including technical, commercial, and legal aspects. Business Development by promoting High Voltage products. Visiting customers to promote High Voltage products, contract negotiations and product trainings. Active participation in Business Reviews, Product Development and Project Management Meetings. 30% domestic/international travel required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience. Full term of experience must include: technical requirement of high voltage sub-station products for specific applications in power grid; conducting design reviews and technical consultants to satisfy the technical and engineering need for applied products; provide Internal & External Training of high voltage products for the application. Experience must also include 2 years with: prepare technical offers of high voltage circuit breakers and Arresters; and develop new products, making specific modifications in available products. 30% domestic/international travel required.
