Wholesale Food Distributor seeks an energetic team player to join the Office Bid Department. This is a Full-Time position, Monday through Friday.JOB DUTIES:1) Data entry with Word, Excel and Online Bid submission platforms;2) Clerical duties including faxing, copies, mail, printing;3) Answering phones;4) Prepare and assemble formal Bid documents;5) Maintain organized customer files;6) Provide customer service and order support;7) Maintain a positive attitude while engaging with customers;8) Research billing, shipping, invoicing issues; 9) Other clerical and customer service duties as tasked by Bid Supervisor.REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS: (PLEASE NOTE - applicants with only retail / restaurant experience will NOT qualify for consideration of this position)1) Previous office-customer-service experience;2) Detail oriented;3) Effective communication and conflict resolution skills;4) Strong organizational and time management skills;5) Ability to work independently;6) Computer Proficient in Word, Excel and web-based data entry;7) Highly motivated and energetic;8) Capable of operating facsimile machine, copiers, calculators;9) Minimum High School Degree (or equivalent);10) Fluent in spoken and written English;11) Authorized to work in the United States.BENEFITS: Competitive compensation package with Medical.
