How You Can Make an Impact
Under the direction of the VP of Finance and Accounting, the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will provide high-level leadership with a focus on customer relations, process improvements, reconciliations, and strategic reporting to senior management. This role emphasizes streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The AR Manager will be responsible for optimizing the end-to-end accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate billings and timely payments, and maintaining positive customer interactions. This role requires a strategic mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
How You Will Contribute
Provide strategic oversight of the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure operational efficiency.
Lead and mentor the AR team to foster a customer-centric approach and drive process improvements.
Develop and implement streamlined invoicing and collection procedures to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure timely and effective collection of payments while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Monitor, analyze, and report on AR trends, providing high-level insights and recommendations to management.
Oversee reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
Develop and maintain high-quality AR procedures that align with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial and operational reports to senior management on a weekly,
monthly, and annual basis.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance internal processes and customer interactions.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex AR-related matters and customer disputes, negotiating resolutions
that align with company goals.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to analyze data, develop insights, and present detailed reports to executive leadership.
Expertise in process optimization, with a track record of implementing efficiency-driven solutions.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, and experience with accounting software.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve disputes professionally.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and concise reporting.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion.
Positive and adaptable attitude with a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
Your Prior Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or oversight role.
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Desired: Experience construction industry
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
