Quality Technician The Quality Technician is responsible for receiving and evaluating and investigating products that are returned from the field. Performing necessary activities on products that are returned for warranties. Our Operations department in Pasco, WA is now looking for a Quality Technician. Key Tasks Perform the evaluation, investigation, and documentation of customer complaints in a timely and professional manner. Receive, process, evaluate and log RMA claims related to customer complaints. Assist with the evaluation, investigation, and documentation of nonconforming material reports as needed. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. May be informal team leader. Assist in document control, process control, and quality system record-keeping activities. Assist in the creation and implementation of new standard work. (Creating directions, procedures, and instructions for certain work assignments.) Maintain accuracy of standard work documents without supervision. Maintain a clean and safe work area and awareness of surroundings. Work as a team and maintain professionalism at all levels in the organization. Your Background High school diploma or GED. Full build experience and knowledge of all chair models and components. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment. Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of related experience. Typically requires a general education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training Proficiency in the English language (written and oral). Ability to understand and follow work instructions and drawings. Strong reading, writing and math abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
