Description
Our client in the marketing/idea/fulfillment business is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting department. Working alongside the Controller,
this person will support m/e, q/e close, provide analytical insight into business performance, review internal control and internal operating policies and procedures and provide input.
Great opportunity to support a Controller who is in need of support and someone to share ideas and insights. This role open because of growth, could elevate into Accounting and Finance Manager for the
right person.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of General Ledger management
• Proficiency in Journal Entries
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite software
• Experience with Oracle software
• Knowledge of SAP software
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial regulations
• CPA certification is preferred.
