THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you ready to make a significant impact on commercial outcomes and drive continuous improvement? Nestle NZ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Strategy Manager to join our dynamic team.

As the Category Strategy Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining systems, processes, and programs to support the delivery of commercial outcomes throughout Nestle in the market.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...

Reporting to Head of Category, you will develop and maintain systems, processes and programs to support delivery and continuous improvement of commercial outcomes throughout Nestle in the market.

A day in the life will look like:

• Lead the data supplier relationship, sourcing insights, and applying data into the Category planning tools and processes.

• Ensure consistent commercial discipline and cross-functional input in managing the Customer Business Plan.

• Adapt, deploy, embed, and facilitate the global Strategic Revenue Management guidelines.

• Identify opportunities for commercial systems improvement and encourage continuous improvement.

• Oversee the rolling 18-month Integrated Commercial Planning process, ensuring process disciplines, training, and quality outputs.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of FMCG Sales and/or Category experience.

• Strong data analytics skills and ability to apply insights to drive commercial outcomes.

• Commercial mindset with a strategic thinker approach.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence others.

• Proven track record in commercial strategy design and implementation.

• Continuously curious mindset, always seeking opportunities for improvement.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

• Power BI and Tableau experience (advantageous)

• Proficiency in advanced PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
