Marlin Manufacturing Welder in Parma, Ohio
Marlin is looking to add a new mid-level welder to our team.

About Marlin Manufacturing:
Marlin manufactures, services, and distributes temperature instrumentation for research and industrial applications. Our operating hours are 7am -- 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This position is 40 hours a week and overtime is available.

Marlin is located near the intersection of W. 130th and Snow Road (about 4 miles east of the airport) in Parma/Cleveland and is within walking distance of bus routes.
What will you do:
- Complete all welding orders and ensure the order meets due date
- Weld junctions, connections, and caps on standard thermocouples
- Verify parts meet customer quality expectations
- Ensure overall organization and cleanliness of welding area
- Assist the Thermocouple Assembly Department as needed
You are qualified if you:
- Are a certified welder and/or have relevant work experience; must be able to pass a weld test
- Have a positive attitude and embrace teamwork
- Operate hand and power tools
- Are able to verify accuracy and inspect quality of orders
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
Physical requirements of the job:
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Walking, standing, and sitting
- Exposure to hazards including hot materials and intense light
