Full-Time Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist for 2024-2025 School Year

Position Overview: Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist and become an integral part of our mission to support student success. We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide expert speech and language services to one of our school partners' school community. This position will cover the entire district including transition programs. You will be supporting schools with open positions, personal, medical or maternity leaves or schools that need extra help with testing/providing services. There are 3 SLPA's on the itinerant team that you will work closely with.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
Develop customized intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Implement engaging therapy sessions that encourage active participation and skill development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support students' communication goals within the classroom and beyond.
Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!
Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
