Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Palm Springs, California, 92262, United States. This role is pivotal to our financial operations, with primary responsibilities in the areas of accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll data management, and monthly invoicing. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and QuickBooks is a must for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process vendor invoices, verify their correctness, and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.

• Prepare, send out invoices, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Accurately manage payroll data for our workforce, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable laws.

• Generate and issue monthly invoices to our clients, ensuring accuracy and promptness.

• Maintain precise financial records by inputting transactions into QuickBooks and other accounting systems.

• Assist in reconciling bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records.

• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including report preparation, maintaining filing systems, and assisting with special projects. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Specialist.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience handling Accounting Functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to perform Auditing tasks with attention to detail.

• Experience in Billing Functions and ensuring timely payments.

• Proficiency in handling Payroll and related tasks.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
