Hyatt Assistant F&B Operations Manager (Restaurant) in Noord, Aruba
Description:
The Assistant F&B Operations Manager (Restaurant) may be responsible for all restaurant services within the hotel. Responsibilities may include managing employees, training, forecasting, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating daily restaurant management operations
Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately torestaurantcustomers
Delegate responsibilities and supervise business operations
Support in hiring, training, motivating, and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities
Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
Monitoring store inventory activity and ensuring proper provisions
Support Operations Managers to manage procurement/purchasing, vendor relations
Provide effective and efficient processes and strategies to evolve revenues and controls on expenses (generate and manage cost reports)
Support Operations Managers to establish and achieve business and profit objectives – Financial responsibility of bars
Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures
Operating equipment responsibility
Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business

Qualifications:
Requirements:
Proven Leadership skills.
Proven Food and Beverage management experience (Restaurant management)
Preferred F&B school diploma or degree in service management or related field
Minimum 2 years in a Management position
Up to date with beverage trends and best practices
Communication, leadership skills, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently - conflict resolution
Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
Guest-oriented and service-minded
Marketing base knowledge
Fluent in English and other languages
