job summary:
Fortune 500 Manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Field Electrical Engineer. This position will be based out of Oxford, North Carolina for the first year. Afterwards, this position will be 100% remote with 60% travel throughout the US. The Field Electrical Engineer will manage the development and implementation of equipment capital projects for various manufacturing plants including but not limited to; procurement, installation and commissioning.
The salary is commensurate with experience ranging up to $140K, plus an opportunity for a bonus, pension, and other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and customer requirements
Lead the assigned capital packages related to design, capital requests, procurement (including, scope of works documents, contracts and change orders), budget, schedule, installation and commissioning
Travel domestically within the U.S. to any other manufacturing plants as required, but will be able to work from home - This position requires travel up to 60%
