TEKsystems RHEL Unix Platform Administrator in Owings Mills, Maryland
Description
The UNIX Platform Cloud Operations Team is seeking 2 experienced RHEL Administrators to serve as along term members of their team. This role is 70% of operational support and maintenance of the enterprise RHEL, Solaris and Cloud MS Azure/Oracle OCI environment. This person should have at least 5-7 years of RedHat, Unix, Oracle Unix administrative experience and can perform tasks related to platform enhancements within an enterprise capacity for Hybrid Cloud environments and assist with the day to day operational workload demands for the following:
Systems Administration, HW Tuning performance, migrations, automation workloads and On Prem and Azure migration efforts.
Also having a strong understanding of Networking features that would include fiber attached storage and NFS.
This group handles the enterprise operational support of the Cloud(Azure) and RHEL and Storage Infrastructure Platform support for large enterprise business applications.
This person will provide installation and support of operating systems, software and patches for a large server infrastructure Environment.

Person should have strong scripting skills: Perl, Korn or Shell
Ansible is a huge plus.
Knowledge of Oracle T-Series and M-Series Entry-Level and Midrange Servers

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hands on Unix Administration/Engineering experience is required. This is to support Project related efforts involving Open source technologies that would include, Net App, Dell/EMC RedHat, Satellite, Solaris, OCI Linux platform services.
Having specific Oracle HW knowledge(Exadata, Superclusters and Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure are game changers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
