Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for palletizing and shrink wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing work stations, moving products and materials using a manual pallet jack, and weighing products before they are brought to the warehouse. You will also read and record digital weights on a small scale, and move bags weighing up to 50 lbs. For weights exceeding 50 lbs, two employees are required as per company policy. Additionally, you will push and pull bowls on wheels, each weighing up to 1,000 lbs, moving at least 8 bowls per shift. This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Palletizing and shrink wrapping products.
Cleaning and sanitizing work stations.
Moving products and materials using a manual pallet jack.
Weighing products before they are brought to the warehouse.
Reading and recording digital weights on a small scale.
Moving filled bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
Pushing and pulling bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels, moving at least 8 bowls per shift.
Essential Skills
Experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment within the last 5 years.
At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company within the last 5 years.
Ability to stand for 8 - 12 hours per day.
Capability to lift 50 lbs.
Willingness to drive a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with tape measuring, cleaning, loading, sweeping, machine operation, sorting, production, manufacturing, food handling, general labor, assembly, hand tools, packaging, construction, packing, forklift operation, and power tools.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
You will work in a small-town, family-like environment with approximately 30 full-time employees. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to GMPs is essential. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair net, eye protection, jeans, shirt, bump cap, and lab coat. The facility does not allow smoking, tobacco products, perfume, cologne, fingernail polish, jewelry, or piercings. Clothing must be free of rips, tears, holes, or embellishments. The environment can be hot in the summer, with some manufacturing rooms reaching up to 90 degrees, but is comfortable in the winter. The work hours are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Thursday) and from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am (Monday to Thursday), with the possibility of overtime on Fridays. Employees must arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift for temperature screening, and this time is paid.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
