This is a position for a (Optometrist (Harbor Eye Associates) located in Oswego.

Summary: This practice was founded in 1978 by Dr. David J. Dexter, and recently moved to its current location to serve a growing community. For over 40 years, Harbor Eye Associates has provided full-service optometry to families and residents in Oswego County of all ages, insurances, and visual/medical diagnoses. The Optometrists provide comprehensive eye care and specialize in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, cataracts, macular degeneration, and co-management of laser vision correction surgery. The practice is centrally located on East First Street and is easily accessible from NY-104 and NY-481. To support the continued growth of Harbor Eye Associates, as well as its community outreach efforts, Dr. Dexter is looking to add an additional provider to its staff of 17 employees.* *

Duties and Responsibilities: To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

: Doctor of Optometry license in the state of New York. New graduates will be considered.
